2017 – Parker Christmas Carriage Parade & Events

Bundle up the kids, and make your way to the 2017 Parker Christmas Carriage Parade!

Who: – The Parade is open to the public.
What: – A fantastic and festive all-equestrian holiday parade
When: – Saturday, December 9, 2017 at noon
Where: – Downtown Parker – on Mainstreet

Activities Before and After the Parker Christmas Carriage Parade

There is much to do on December 9 besides watching the Parade! After the parade, there will be several festive activities for attendees of all ages.

Some of the activities include:

  • Holiday ice sculpting
  • A Petting Zoo
  • Pony Rides
  • A Holiday Farmer’s Market
  • Pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus

Watching the parade and participating in the holiday activities is a fantastic way for your whole family to spend a Saturday in December!

NOTE: Pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus cost $5 (cash only) and will be available from 1 pm to 3 pm after the parade.

Parker Holiday FREE Carriage Rides

Free holiday carriage rides are being offered in Parker between the hours of 3:30 pm and 8:30 pm on:

Friday, November 24
Saturday, November 25
Sunday, November 26

Please note that even though there is no charge for the rides, anyone interested in a ride MUST obtain a ticket.

There are three ticketing options this year:

1) early bird registration at *Parker Town Hall on Tuesday, November 21 at 6:30 pm,
2) online on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 beginning at 10:00 am, and
3) stand-by lines each night of the rides at the at the Carriage Ride Station near the front doors of the **Douglas County Libraries in Parker beginning at 3:15 pm each day.

**Douglas County Libraries in Parker: 20105 Mainstreet, Parker, CO 80134

Note: This year’s carriage rides will feature larger vehicles, one additional vehicle, and longer hours for the three days of the rides. Carriage Rides will be offered as a non-stop loop from Discovery Park and the Douglas County Libraries in Parker to O’Brien Park. The rides will be approximately 25 minutes and will travel through downtown Parker on Mainstreet where patrons can enjoy the new lights on Mainstreet, along with the beauty of O’Brien Park.
