Halloween day, and weekends throughout the month of October, offer numerous festivals and events. Some take place on October 31, and other events, tours, hayrides and pumpkin picking opportunities are scheduled to take place throughout the Halloween season.

Bat Encounters – PACE Center – Thursday, October 26, 2017 – 7:00 pm – Meet bats from around the world. Learn all there is to know about bats!

Trick or Treat on Mainstreet – October 31, 2017 – 3:30 pm – 7:00 pm – All Ages! A Parker Halloween Tradition! Trick-or-Treat in a Safe Environment.

Fieldhouse Fright Night – Saturday, October 21, 2017 – 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm – All Ages! Ghoulish Games, Scary Zombies!

Flat Acres Farm – Fall Festival – Saturday, September 23, 2017 – October 31, 2017 – 10:00 am – 6:00 pm (OPEN Wednesdays thru Sundays, and ALL WEEK during the 2017 Douglas County Schools Fall Break October 9-13) – All Ages! Vampire 5K – Running Sucks – Saturday, September 30, 2017 – at Dusk. This 5K is NOT a race – it’s just for fun. There are only 100 spots available for “vampires” – so register early!

Spirit Halloween Store in Parker – Various store hours throughout the months of September & October 2017 – All Ages! Spooky Halloween Store filled with costumes and Halloween decorations for sale.

Castle of Terror Haunted House – Various Dates in October 2017 – 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm – May Not be Appropriate for all Ages! Tickets Required!

Walking Tour of Bear Canyon Cemetery – Saturday, October 28, 2017 – Founded in 1872, this cemetery contains the remains of the early pioneers of Sedalia, Castle Rock, and Douglas County.

Harvest Festival – Saturday, October 28, 2017 – 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Phillip S. Miller Park. Lots of activities for all ages! Food, drinks, pumpkins, and more!

Halloween Spooktacular at the MAC – Saturday, October 28, 2017 – 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm – All Ages! Face painting, bounce houses, prizes and candy!

Husky Howl-O-Ween First Annual 5K & Fun Run – Saturday, October 28, 2017 – Timed 5K run in costumes, costume contest, goody bags! Starts at 8am at the Douglas County High School Baseball Field.
