Got a hot set of wheels? Enter it into the Cruise In and you might win. Prizes include best in each class, Best in Show, and even a Mayor’s Choice. More information on how to enter your car is available on the VCC website.
The Castle Rock Cruise In Car Show is organized and produced by a partnership of the Vintage Car Club and the Castle Rock Downtown Merchants Association, and in 2013 was awarded the Governor’s Award for Downtown Excellence as the Best Promotional Event in Colorado. The proceeds from the show are shared by the Downtown Merchants and the VCC. The VCC in turn donates a portion of its share to support several local charities.
Hotrods in the Village
A smaller but no less exciting event, Hotrods in the Village, is held each year in Castle Pines Village. With a more intimate atmosphere among the small boutiques and eateries of the Village, Hotrods in the Village allows proud car owners to display their vintage or unusual cars, sharing their passion for the automobile with neighbors and spectators.
With live music, trophies, dash plaques, and vendors selling cold beer, this event is perfect for a hot August day. Hotrods in the Village takes place on Happy Canyon Road at Santa Fe in Castle Rock.
The Vintage Car Club of Castle Rock was founded in 2007 with the mission of preserving and restoring classic cars and works to provide information and fun to everyone who loves vintage cars through annual events, tours, and meetings.
The VCC is a non-profit with members from all walks of life who are passionate about automobiles. Vehicle ownership is not required to become a member. If you do own a vintage car, the VCC would love to know about it. All vehicles are welcome from domestic to foreign, stock or modified, sports cars, trucks, hotrods, antiques, and more.
Put the pedal to the medal this summer—join the VCC for cool cars, music, food, and fun in downtown Castle Rock and Castle Pines Village.
