A local builder, called Lokal Homes, just started building a 2nd town home complex in The Meadows. It is called Forty on Meadows. No units are move-in ready as of today. They are 4-7 months out until finished. However, you can purchase them now to reserve your townhouse.Buyers should NEVER try to negotiate with builders without an experienced Realtor. I was a CEO for numerous constructions companies before I was a Realtor. I know what goes on behind the scenes. Remember, a buyer in Colorado does not pay any fees associated with retaining a real estate agent. It costs you nothing to hire the best!

Buyers Main Concerns with Builder Transactions

  • Earnest Money may not be refundable depending upon the circumstances.
  • Quality inspections are essential since no one has ever tested the usability of the home.
  • Builders use their own internal contracts & procedures. They do not follow standard Colorado real estate contracts & procedures.
  • Builders pay Buyer Agent fees and allocate funds for you to be represented with every property.

New Grange Pool in the Meadows Coming Summer 2016

Going to the Grange’s neighborhood pool is a staple summer activity for the families of The Meadows in Castle Rock. There’s nothing better than whiling away the summer afternoon hours with pool games for the kids and relaxation and great conversation for the adults. You may have noticed, though, that the growing neighborhood is leading to a bit of overcrowding when it comes to the pool at the Grange.

Luckily, the Meadows Neighborhood Company (MNC) is unveiling plans for a new Grange Pool in the Meadows, fighting to give you your summers back!

Back in 2012, the MNC surveyed residents asking what they wanted from their neighborhood amenities. The results were conclusive: you wanted a new pool! Now, the MNC is pleased to announce that a new pool will open by Memorial Day 2016!

About 4.5 acres of land in The Meadows will be developed into a brand new pool facility for members, and will include such awesome features as:

  • A bubble pit,
  • A vertical climbing wall,
  • An aquatic play structure,
  • Water toys,
  • A large vortex,
  • A sand volleyball court,
  • A snack bar,
  • A turf sunning area,
  • Bathhouses,
  • An outdoor party pavilion, and
  • Space for arts and fitness classes, meetings, parties, or events.

This extensive land, generously donated by the Castle Rock Development Company, may also be the site of even more future neighborhood amenities such as a recreation center and an additional pool. Spaces at the new outdoor pool will be available for rent by our members for personal and community events like birthday parties, showers, graduation parties, anniversaries, and more.

In anticipation of its grand opening in summer 2016, the MNC is hosting a contest to choose the official name of this new facility and they need Meadows residents to help out! Starting April 22nd, submit your ideas for your most creative, original, and fitting names for the new outdoor pool to Jennifer Reinhardt at jreinhardt@meadowslink.com, on Facebook, or at one of the Grange’s open houses. While the Amenities Committee will handpick the top choices from among the submissions after the contest ends on June 12th, the best names will then be brought before the community, who will get to vote for their favorite choice. The winner will be awarded a $100 gift card…and bragging rights for the rest of the summer!

Join the MNC for open houses on April 22nd from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. or May 13th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to discover what’s in store for Meadows residents. Open houses will take place at the Grange located at 3692 Meadows Blvd, Castle Rock, CO 80109.

The Grange Pool will be open for the summer of 2015 starting May 23rd until September 7th. The pool is open seven days a week and offers swim lessons though the pool management company, Swim TLC.
