Tee Off at the 9th Annual USO Denver Golf Classic and Live Auction

USO Denver invites you to golf for a good cause at their 9th annual Golf Classic and Live Auction coming to Castle Rock Monday, July 20th. Enjoy the manicured greens and gorgeous scenery that is special to the Ridge at Castle Pines North, one of Colorado’s most renowned public golf courses. Proceeds from the golf tournament will go towards supporting active military members and their families.

Golfing for the Greater Good at the Ridge at Castle Pines North

The day begins early with registration at 7 a.m., followed by a light breakfast for all participants before commencing the 18-hole golf tournament! All golfers will enjoy use of a golf cart, lunch, a live auction, and the chance to win great prizes—all for a great cause that’s easy to get behind! The shotgun start is at 8 a.m. so you’d better be ready to tee off in your favorite golf attire. Note that jeans and steel spikes are not allowed on the course.

The Ridge at Castle Pines North is one of the most popular public golf courses in the area. This widely acclaimed course has four sets of tees between 5,000 and 7,000 yards and has garnered accolades from such publications as Golf Magazine, Golfweek, and Colorado Avid Golfer. Experience one of the best golf courses on the Front Range in this competitive event. Those who live in a Castle Pines Golf community would have front row seats, of course.

The 9th Annual USO Denver Golf Classic and Live Auction is the non-profit’s largest fundraising event of the year. Military members will be on hand at the tournament to play in some of the foursomes and to share with golfers a bit about the impact of USO’s work on the lives of military members and their families.

Since USO was founded in 1941, it’s provided support and care for injured troops and the families of those who have fallen. USO Denver’s efforts are focused on the over 100,000 troops at their Denver International Airport center and the 20,000 soldiers and their families at Buckley Air Force Base, but their work also extends into Northern Colorado and Wyoming. Through comfort, entertainment, and support, USO lifts the spirits of American troops and their families, giving a little back to those who sacrifice so much on a daily basis. USO’s programs include Operation Phone Home, which keep troops connected with loved ones at home, Survivor Seminars for families of the fallen, and Talk, Listen, Connect, a DVD series that helps young children of active military members cope through the wise words of the Sesame Street Muppets.

The tournament will be held at the Ridge at Castle Pines North located at 1414 Pines Parkway, Castle Pines on Monday, July 20, 2015. Register in advance online—it’s $225 for an individual or $900 for a foursome. Alternatively, you can sign up for any of the four sponsor packages for additional perks for your business. Additional donations to USO Denver are always appreciated by this fantastic organization.
